J’S RACING Wins TCE Class at the International Endurance Race “24 Hours of Dubai 2026”!
Founder Junichi Umemoto competed as a driver and achieved a class victory in an internationally recognized 24-hour endurance race.
J’s Corporation (Headquarters: Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture / President and CEO: Junichi Umemoto) announced that J’S RACING achieved a class victory in the TCE class at the international endurance race “24 Hours of Dubai 2026,” held at Dubai Autodrome in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from Friday, January 16 to Sunday, January 18, 2026.
The 24 Hours of Dubai 2026: Where the World’s Top Teams Clash
The “24 Hours of Dubai” is an international 24-hour endurance race where the world’s top teams gather to compete in a multi-category field featuring GT3, GT4, TCE, and 992 Cup classes racing together. With around 70 cars on track simultaneously, the grueling conditions—including continuous racing through day and night and the desert’s extreme temperature fluctuations—push the limits of machine reliability, strategy, and teamwork to the absolute extreme.

This championship saw Junichi Umemoto, President and CEO of J’s Corporation—a company that has championed the vision of “making Honda the brand that delivers the world’s greatest driving enjoyment” since its founding—compete as a driver himself, securing victory alongside his team.
Umemoto excelled as the attack driver in qualifying, successfully securing a starting position one place higher than anticipated. In the final race, he took charge as the starting driver, advancing the position one more place. From the second stint onward, he handled the challenging late-night conditions and periods of heavy traffic. With consistent laps and reliable machine control, he made a significant contribution to maintaining the team’s position.
His attitude embodied the principles championed by J’S RACING: “Passion for Driving,” “Love for Cars,” and “The Spirit of Continuous Challenge,” greatly boosting the morale of the entire team.
This event saw the team challenge alongside the German-based asBest.racing team’s CUPRA #102 car, their mechanics and engineers, and four drivers from the same team. United as one, they battled through the entire 24 hours.
They meticulously maintained the machine to prevent issues before they arose and made precise setup adjustments in response to constantly changing temperatures. Based on strategic decisions that perfectly read the mixed-class race conditions, all drivers delivered consistently stable stints. Furthermore, they maintained high concentration throughout the long, nighttime final stages of the race. Their accumulation of accurate and speedy pit stops maximized the team’s overall capabilities, ultimately leading to the result of taking the checkered flag in first place.

I have won numerous 24-hour endurance races worldwide, including the Nürburgring 24 Hours. However, securing victory in this Dubai 24 Hours race—known for its extreme difficulty—on my fifth attempt represents the culmination of the entire team’s dedication and passion. It marks a significant milestone in J’S RACING’s history.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us. We will continue our challenge to share the appeal of motorsports with the world.

Building on this championship victory, J’S RACING will continue its international racing activities, sharing the excitement of motorsports with the world.
